I am facing HTTP Status 404 – Not Found with maven intigration
I have provided two images one of web.xml and other ine is Deployment assembly, I am using maven in eclipse to run servlet but I am facing 404 error
One of following could have occurred : Your final artifact structure should comply with J2EE defined structure of deployed assembly. Check the folder .metadata.plugins\org.eclipse.wst.server.core\tmp0\wtpwebapps\ to know if you have following in place (Example app name :myapp): Myapp/webcontent Myapp/web-inf/web.xml Myapp/web-inf/classes Myapp/web-inf/lib If this is not the case, modify the deployment assembly accordingly and see if it changes the output file n folder struture. Check if you see any errors while the tomcat starts in eclipse. Even a single stacktrace should be paid attention and be resolved. Check if the final war generated with mvn clean install can be deployed successfully in an external tomcat. This will help you identify if there is anything wrong with your web.xml or source code. Hope this helps.
