hibernate nullpointer exception after removing classes content from maven project
I deleted the target/classes map to be able to be sure that all the maven dependencies were gone and would have to be redownloaded. After it did I suddenly got a nullpointer exception at the code line where it accesses the database to check whether the user doesen't exist. It diden't do this before I removed the folder content. Also, right before that I changed hibernate core from 5.2.9 to 5.2.10 and then back again because then it seemed to give me that nullpointer exception. But now it gives a nullpointer exception both at the 9 and 10 version, so I really don't understand what could be causing this. Any ideas? I'm using netbeans 8.2. thank you
