Local server deploy automation using build managers
Some info: Java Application Build manager: Maven Local server: Tomcat I want to automate the process of deploying the app to local server so all you need to do in order to check the app after checking it out from VCS is to process a command in the command prompt. Without modifying any settings by hand on your PC. You checked out a project from GitHub to your IDE -> You entered a command to prompt -> You went to local address to observe the project As I already know, there are several ways to do so, but they all require some modifications in tomcat-users.xml or maven plugin settings file for instance. I know the problem was solved like million years ago, but can anyone give directions to follow? Whether it's a link to some post, another question or github project.
