Deploying Java App on Google Cloud without web.xml
I have developed Java application with Maven, Sping4, Hibernate, and Mysql. I am trying to deploy the application on google cloud in Standard Environment(Java7). My Application runs on Apache tomcat server but when I deploy this application on Google it is giving me 404 error. But when I copied web.xml file and dummy servlet file into my project, only that particular servlet runs. Does it mean that Google Cloud do not support configuration without web.xml file. If yes, what should I do to proceed? Please support.
