Access VBA Query is working properly, but the Form isn't filtering. New Record causing issue?
I have an Address form assigned to a Customer. The user may change the Address by opening a Form. This Form first has them search for a pre-existing Address (In the DB) and if none exists, they can define a new Address. If they search and find one that already exists, they can double click the ID and the Address is assigned to the Customer. The form closes and the previous form re-queries, showing the updated address. That works fine. However, when I allow them to key in a new address and use that one in the same way, the original form isn't re-querying or filtering properly. I have to re-open the form to see the updated address. So the query to update it is working, I just can't get the address to display in the original form. I'm setting the New_Address Form to DataEntry Enabled and On_Click of a Save button, I run the Update query, set the filter and close the form. Literally the exact same code I use on the Search_Address form...but it doesn't work. Help?
