VMware EXSI 6.5 - 2 Servers and 1 NAS
i need some advice. I have two new Hosts, on which VMWare EXSi 6.5 is installed. I also have a Synology Rackstation. I followed some configurations to set the Rackstation up as iSCSI targets and successfully added it as a Datastore for the first host. The second host however, isn't picking it up. This is what i am trying to achieve however. The second server is meant to be a backup server that will be MANUALLY powered on in the event that Server 1 fails. It would be best if i can configure it now, and shut it down, so when failure comes about, i only need to power up server two and start the VMs (which should be the same VMs OR replications of them from Server 1). Please advise.
